Offers good formability, deep drawability, and uniform mechanical properties. Available grades: SPCC, SPCD, SPCE, DC01, DC03, DC04, ST12, ST14, Q195, Q235, and low-carbon steel for deep drawing. Thickness range: 0.3mm – 3.0mm. Width: up to 1500mm, custom lengths available. Surface finish: bright (standard), matt, or oiled/un-oiled as required. Edge condition: mill edge or slit edge. Easy to cut, stamp, bend, and weld. Suitable for painting, plating, and other surface treatments. Meets JIS G3141, EN 10130, ASTM A1008, or GB/T 5213 standards.

Production description

Hot rolled coils are pickled to remove scale, then cold rolled at room temperature to precise thickness. The hardened coils are annealed to restore ductility, followed by skin pass for flatness and surface finish. Oil may be applied for rust protection. Finally, coils are inspected, cut to size, and packed.

Shipping Packaging

For export, cold rolled steel sheets are interleaved with VCI paper and moisture-proof film, stacked on ISPM-15 certified wooden pallets, secured with steel straps, and protected with edge protectors. Labels include grade, dimensions, and heat number for safe sea freight.

1. How to store cold rolled steel sheets to avoid surface rust?
Store indoors in dry, clean area with original interleaving paper. Keep humidity below 70% and avoid direct contact with water. Use within 6 months of delivery for best results.

2. Can cold rolled steel be welded without surface treatment?
Yes, but remove any oil or protective coating near weld area. Standard MIG/TIG or spot welding works well. For painting after welding, clean the weld zone thoroughly.

3. What is the difference between SPCC and SPCE grades?
SPCC is for general purpose bending and forming. SPCE offers deeper drawability, suitable for complex stamping like automotive panels or appliance housings.
