| Application | Spring steel strip is a high-strength, high-hardness, and high-elasticity steel material that is commonly used in the manufacture of springs for products such as automobiles, aviation, and machinery. |
Application description:
Widely used in automotive components (clutch discs, valve springs, seat belt retractors), industrial fasteners (washers, clips, retaining rings), saw blades, measuring tapes, power tool springs, and precision mechanical parts. The high yield strength and fatigue resistance make it ideal for repeated bending, torsion, and shock loading applications.

Production description
Hot rolled spring steel coil is pickled, cold rolled to precise thickness (0.05–3.0mm), and optionally annealed. For hardened & tempered grades, strip is heat treated (austenitized, quenched, tempered) to target HRC. Strip is slit to width (2–600mm), edge deburred, rewound, inspected, and packed.

Shipping Packaging
For export, spring steel strips are wound on steel reels, wrapped with VCI paper and moisture-proof polyethylene, packed in wooden crates or on ISPM-15 pallets, secured with steel straps, and fitted with edge protectors. Labels include grade, hardness, dimensions, coil weight, and heat number for safe sea freight.

Why Choose Us?
1.Factory Strength:Direct manufacturer with precision cold rolling, heat treatment (quenching & tempering), and slitting lines, ensuring consistent hardness (HRC 32–60), flatness, and tight thickness tolerance (±0.01mm).
2.Quality Assurance:Strict control of chemical composition, decarburization, fatigue life, and edge condition; compliant with ASTM A228, JIS G3474, EN 10132, GB/T 1222.
3.Certifications & Reports:Mill test certificates (MTC) with each shipment; third-party inspections (SGS, BV) and hardness test reports (HRC, HV) available upon request.
4.Customization & Service:Wide grade range (SK5, 65Mn, 50CrV4, C75S, etc.), thickness 0.05–3.0mm, width 2–600mm, various tempers (annealed, hardened & tempered), and edge profiles with fast lead times.
5.Export Packaging:VCI paper + moisture-proof wrapping + wooden crates/ISPM-15 pallets + edge protectors + steel reels for safe sea freight and damage-free delivery.
FAQ
1. How to store spring steel strips to prevent decarburization?
Store in dry, clean area with original wrapping. Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight. For hardened strips, keep away from moisture to prevent surface rust.
2. Can spring steel strips be welded?
Welding is not recommended for hardened spring steel due to risk of cracking and loss of temper. For design requiring joining, use mechanical fastening or annealed strip followed by re-heat treatment.
3. What hardness range is suitable for different spring applications?
HRC 32–40 for heavy-duty springs (e.g., suspension springs). HRC 40–50 for general-purpose springs (clips, washers). HRC 50–60 for precision small springs (valve springs, measuring tapes).
